I’m an engineer with 14 years of experience (9 in leadership) across a wide range of projects (platform, full-stack, mobile, medical devices, theater installations, many more).
I specialize in platform engineering and developer experience, building tooling, frameworks, and cloud platforms to enable developers to deliver higher quality software at scale, faster.
I like solving sociotechnical problems, building systems to solve development pain-points in teams of engineers, with a path-of-least-resistance philosophy.
I work globally with many languages and cultures, residing in Berlin since 2016.
Lately I’m working on tooling, platforms, and libraries to enable AI, most of which are open source.

I’m also very interested in specification languages like Quint and it’s predecessor, TLA+.
I also run Little Tone Records, make music as George Earnest / G.E.O Corp, play in The Berlin Jazz Workshop, and host a monthly radio show about jazz.
